Chelsea youth coach Eddie Newton believes manager Maurizio Sarri will be given longer by management to get things right.
Newton recognises Chelsea’s sack culture, but says Sarri will be given more time.
He told Goal: “I know it is known that our club regularly changes coaches. But simply, I think Sarri will have more time.
“I think that the last two games have shown that he could adapt, because we were much more structured and compact and more difficult to beat. It shows that we are going in a different direction, I think it helps a lot and reassure the fans.
“Fortunately, the fans have seen the last two games and have taken a little confidence, even if we lost one.”
