Liverpool have clinched the signing of goalkeeper Kai McKenzie-Lyle.
The Liverpool Echo reports the 6ft 7in shot-stopper was taken on trial by the Reds in July and turned out for the Under-23s in their friendly against Hungarian club ETO Gyor as they drew 1-1.
McKenzie-Lyle made his professional debut at just 17 when he played for Barnet in a 3-1 defeat to Portsmouth in 2015 and he has since been capped by Guyana.
The Guyana international appears to have signed a contract with the Reds after impressing during his trial over the summer.
Posting on his Instagram account on Thursday, McKenzie-Lyle said: “Happy to start my new challenge with @liverpoolfc big thanks to @10tentalent for getting it done #YNWA”.
