Fulham boss Claudio Ranieri was happy with their point earned from Newcastle United on Saturday.
The Cottagers drew 0-0 at St James’ Park.
Ranieri said, “I watch my team more solid, more calm it was the first time we changed the system with three at the back and was good. They clsoe all of the space and they try to make a lot of crosses for Rondon and find the second ball but we closed down the space very well.
“This system has something good and something wrong as well – all of the systems, it’s the players who are important. Then this evening I watched my players very well close down and try to create good chance. I think our first half was better than the second and the first half we didn’t create anything.
He added on Aboubakar Kamara’s chance: “I try, I try to win the match because Kamara can break the lines and make something good but in this moment I repeat: a clean sheet and one point.”
