Nigerian footballers Victor Moses and Isaac Success can receive serious penalties after willfully missed the matches of the national team.
Moses, footballer Chelsea Success of Watford are simulated injuries to miss meetings with Tanzania and Zambia from World Cup qualifiers.
“We know they played a good match and there was no sign of injuries and two after them,” said the Nigerian federation. “A surprise was to learn that Moses is injured and Success even game until the end of the match for his team before announcing he was injured.”
“We will not get away with impunity, if we find that our suspicions are justified. We can write a letter to FIFA if it is confirmed, we want punishment if their clubs have helped to simulate injuries,” the statement said.
